Hummingbird Cake
Incredible cake! Some friends came down from Maine, and I sent them off to the rooster for a late Sunday breakfast. They raved about the Benedict and brought home a slice of hummingbird cake. The three of us split it that night and vowed to come back in the next few days to get a few more slices to not share. So moist with a melding of flavors not usually found in a cake.

This was delicious! Visited the Rooster this morning. The chicken was delicious, crispy coating with moist beautiful meat. The waffle, with the jelly made a delicious mix with the chicken. Throw in the maple syrup and you’re in love all over again! Will def return, and it’s C & W for me…
